The show is often referred to as the Medica for the EAMA region and after separating from Arabhealth in 2017 has established itself as one of the top shows for the medical laboratory and in-vitro diagnostics area.

In 2017 there were 575 exhibitors from 38 countries. In total over 20,000 people visited with in excess of 10,000 visitors attending the exhibition and over 6300 deletes attending the conference as Medlab continues to grow.

The UK pavilion organised by GAMBICA has an excellent location at the entrance to the Zabeel 1 Hall (the show is located in Zabeel Halls 1-7).
