New
Directors At GAMBICA
GAMBICA,
the association for instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory
technology, has announced the appointment of a new deputy director, Steven
Brambley and a new director of the laboratory technology sector, Tim Collins.
Steven Brambley is an engineer with 12 years experience in the automotive
industry initially with tyre company Michelin and later as Production
and Quality Manager at DANA, an American automotive company that designs
and manufactures products for globally located vehicle producers. At GAMBICA,
Steven will be responsible for the Industrial Automation sector and for
developing the interface with the Association’s Process Automation
sector.
Tim Collins began his career as a chemist at Kings College before moving
on to Roehampton Institute of Higher Education. He was responsible for
sales at Oxford Laboratory Supplies and continued in this role when the
company was taken over by CEM, manufacturers of microwave systems for
laboratory process. He then joined Research Engineers and subsequently
Signal Group, specialist suppliers of gas analysers and systems. Tim will
be responsible for the development of the Association’s Laboratory
Technology Sector and its activities both in the UK and overseas.
