New President for British Electrotechnical Committee

GAMBICA's Chief Executive, Geoff Young has been appointed President of the British Electrotechnical Committee (BEC), the national body responsible for the UK's electrical and electronic technical standards. Through the office of its President, BEC is the UK member of both the international and European standards organisations, IEC and CENELEC, and is an active participant in their governing bodies on behalf of UK industry.

GAMBICA is the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK. It has a membership of over 200 companies and covers the following five principal sectors of the industry: -
