S-Lab Conference 21^st September 2016 at Nottingham University, Jubilee Campus plus early announcement of 2017 major conference

Titled “Laboratory Design and Services” the next S-lab conference at the University of Nottingham will coincide with the opening of the new Carbon Neutral Chemistry Laboratory (which has been rebuilt since the fire last year). The event, which is widely expected to be sold out will include a limited number of tours of the new C-Neutral Chemistry Laboratory, as well as a full programme of presentations and workshops, plus a small scale exhibition.

This is the third S-lab meeting of 2016, all have been very well received by both conference attendees and exhibitors.

Additionally dates for a major two day conference in 2017 in conjunction with UKSPA, the UK Science park association have also been announced. Provisionally title – Science Innovation and Translation: The design & operation of research laboratories, incubators and science park facilities – the conference, exhibition and awards programme will take place over two days at York racecourse on May 9^th & 10^th 2017. More details will be available shortly.
