The Partnership in Automation and Control Training (PACT) continues to work tirelessly to help address the shortage of personnel with the depth of understanding and breadth of knowledge necessary to effectively apply the technology and techniques involved in control and automation systems.

The PACT is now working closely with Lancaster University to offer the only postgraduate MSc programme in Process Automation as well as the associated Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship in Process Automation (PA7).

Structured as a suite of modules and short courses organized on a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) basis, the MSc course is aimed at and designed around the needs of engineers working in the chemicals and process sector of industry, especially those in their early career, whose job functions are in the area of instrumentation, control, and automation.
