Opening up production facilities post lockdown
It has become clear that many firms with production or warehouse facilities are considering how best to ensure adequate social distancing, especially at the end of lockdown. GAMBICA member, Nidec Control Techniques Ltd, the largest producer of drives in the UK, has kindly agreed to show fellow members how they went about reorganising production space to allow for appropriate social distancing. Control Techniques shut down their plant for three weeks and completely re-ordered the space to accommodate their 350 operations staff to meet national and Welsh government guidelines for social distancing in the work place.
