Our UK Pavilions at International Trade Fairs provide a clear focal point at these events for UK laboratory technology. Our programme is available on our International Events page. Further info on our event support & services can be found at Benefits of Joining a UK Pavilion. GAMBICA Overseas Event Group participation is open to both MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS of the association.

Export Group meetings are held three times a year, at which members get together in a relatively informal ‘round-table’ setting to discuss key issues affecting our industry.

Department for International Trade (DIT). We work very closely with the DIT in the delivery and support of our & their export activities. A huge amont of free information, advice and support is available from DIT and for more information visit our dedicated DIT Support page

Information & Resources. GAMBICA maintains close links with a number of key UK organisations and associations which also provide support to exporting companies. As an association dedicated to assisting our members and industry increase their trade virtually all of our key activities are to the benefit of exporters. In addition to our more readily identifiable export initiatives, below are just a few ways by which UK exporting companies gain advantage through our:

Technical Standards & Regulatory GAMBICA and our members play a key role in the preparation of national, European & international standards which affect product acceptance in world markets, by way of our membership of European associations such as BSI, CENELEC and the IEC and by maintaining leading roles in the regulatory arena.

Political Lobbying & Industry Strategy In Europe, GAMBICA was instrumental in setting up the EURIS task force. This is a multi-association industry collaboration which advises government on the impacts of Brexit and seeks to eliminate the risks of trade barriers, administrative burden, regulatory divergence and other pitfalls in the complex relationship between the UK and EU.

Economics Forecast. Twice a year, usually in May and October, GAMBICA members receive a presentation and full report on the growth prospects in a number of our major markets, to assist with forward planning and budgets. This is carried out by Oxford Economics, one of the world's foremost global forecasting and research consultancies. The presentation includes a macro-economic overview for the UK and world economic forecasts for the US, Japan, Europe and emerging markets.
