Superstar staff member = Dr Kerry Elgie, Asynt Commercial Director

Kerry achieved her doctorate back in 2003, joining Asynt soon after.  Originally working as a devoted sales rep, continually striving to go above and beyond to support her customers in their laboratory requirements, Kerry’s incredible energy and tenacity is awe-inspiring and has seen her build her career within the company and her reputation within the industry.

Kerry has a huge and beautiful personality, brimming with warmth and enthusiasm. She really cares – whether that’s about bringing her knowledge and expertise to Asynt’s R&D program or helping chemists get the best out of their apparatus – she does it all!

Despite a hectic schedule, Kerry is the glue that brings together multiple teams within the company and we’re so grateful to have her on our team.

Interesting insight…

We do team building differently - we’ve had days at the seaside with fish and chips, gone clay pigeon shooting, had drumming masterclasses and often fire up a little BBQ outside for an impromptu lunchtime grill over the summer months.

We don’t have a huge amount of traditions as we like to be flexible and spontaneous, but we thoroughly enjoy our annual gingerbread house decorating competition (think GBBO but with infinitely less skill and more edible glitter)!

Mental health and wellbeing is something we are conscious of at Asynt, and our charity of the year is Suffolk Mind.  We’re hoping to complete some great sponsored events this summer so keep an eye out for information on these.
