Superstar staff member = Andrian Cojocaru, Team Leader - Customer Centric Team

Our star, Andrian, is a standout member of the Yokogawa UK team whose journey from Bucharest to Aberdeen and now Runcorn reflects dedication, technical brilliance, and leadership in the energy automation sector.

Starting in 2007 as a DCS Engineer in Yokogawa’s Bucharest office, our star of the month quickly established a reputation for precision and reliability. After graduating in 2008, he embarked on a commissioning career that spanned both onshore and offshore projects.

In 2014, he transferred to Yokogawa UK’s Aberdeen office, where he played a pivotal role in commissioning key gas assets including:

  • Cygnus field – Supplying ~ 6% of UK’s daily gas demand
  • Culzean field – A major UK gas contributor
  • Shetland gas field – Overseeing installations at Edradour and Glenlivet wells

His next move to Runcorn marked a transition into leadership, where he now manages a team of 10 engineers, oversees strategic planning, and supporting major clients.

From technical depth to strategic leadership, Andrian exemplifies Yokogawa’s commitment to excellence. Andrian’s ability to navigate complex projects, lead international teams, and deliver high-impact solutions makes him a true asset, not just to Yokogawa, but to the UK’s energy future.
