ZVEI publishes guidance defining the criteria for Industrie 4.0 products

The German trade association, ZVEI, has published a new document that defines the criteria for Industrie 4.0 products
These criteria help providers on the market to decide which products can already be labelled as Industrie 4.0-capable. In addition, companies can use these criteria as a guide for product development. For customers, the ZVEI definition provides clarity regarding the services and features that Industrie 4.0 products1 should provide.
