GAMBICA Supports the Manufacturing Management Leadership Day at JLR Castle Bromwich

GAMBICA is proud to support the 2018 Manufacturing Management Leadership Day!

Prepare your team for the Smart Factory of the Future at a Manufacturing Management Leadership Day

Manufacturing Management Leadership Days are designed to develop and prepare future leaders in UK manufacturing - the first of these events will take place on 20 March 2018 at Jaguar Land Rover’s world-famous Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham.

The efficient, one-day format will ensure you take away innovative ideas to prepare your workforce for the dawn of the Smart Factory of the Future.

What will you learn?

The Leadership Day begins with an opening keynote from two senior directors at Cisco, where you will learn how manufacturers stand to see significant productivity gains from adopting future technologies.

You and your team will then get hands-on in a series of interactive workshops focused on the challenges and opportunities that will arise as automation and robotics become commonplace in the factory. There will also be advice on how to upskill the traditional workforce in the age of digital transformation.

Each workshop will be delivered by our partners who share our core vision of preparing leaders for the digital manufacturing age: Festo, Kronos, Siemens and Infor.

  • Embarking on your Industry 4.0 journey? Festo's interactive workshop will help you familiarise with the core elements and basic technologies of Industry 4.0, and how they can improve processes and products.
  • At a time when automation is changing how manufacturers produce goods and service customers, Kronos will use their workshop to highlight why it is still important to engage employees with the energy and creative spark that can result in productivity improvements and higher quality.

Then, to truly bring everything you have learned during the Leadership Day together, you will end the day with a behind-the-scenes tour of Jaguar Land Rover’s iconic Castle Bromwich site. See first-hand how a highly automated manufacturing process has enabled the factory to upskill many of its workers.
