The government has opened a consultation on T-Levels, the technical education qualification equivalent to A-Levels. The consultation is open now and runs until 8th February 2018. You can respond to the consultation here: https://consult.education.gov.uk/technical-education/implementation-of-t-level-programmes/
The content and delivery of T-levels, including qualifications, assessment and the work placements, is intended to be designed by employers and government together – Industry input to the consultation as employers is really important.
You can download the full consultation document here, with the proposals and the 40 questions that government has put to stakeholders: https://consult.education.gov.uk/technical-education/implementation-of-t-level-programmes/supporting_documents/T%20level%20consultation.pdf
