Help To Grow

Delivered by	Coventry University Business School, in partnership with GAMBICA
Cost	£750 per person. Coventry University currently offers a bursary of £750, making the course free of charge to eligible participants.
Commitment	12 days over several months (a mix of online modules and in-person workshops)
Who it is for	Senior decision-makers in SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) with between 5 and 249 employees, who have been operating for at least one year
Accreditation	Small Business Charter (SBC) accredited; 90% government-funded

The Help to Grow: Management programme is a nationally recognised, government-funded management development course delivered by Coventry University Business School. It was specifically designed to support senior managers in small and medium-sized businesses to build their strategic and commercial capabilities.

The programme consists of 12 modules, made up of eight online sessions and four face-to-face case study workshops. It also includes weekly peer-to-peer networking sessions and 10 hours of one-to-one mentoring with an experienced business leader. By the end of the programme, each participant develops a tailored Growth Action Plan for their business.

GAMBICA Member Cohort

GAMBICA is working with Coventry University to explore the possibility of running a fully online cohort exclusively for GAMBICA members. This would remove the need for travel and allow the programme to be completed entirely remotely. A minimum of 15 committed participants is required to make this happen. If you are interested, please register with us so we can gauge demand.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Help to Grow: Management programme, you must be a senior decision-maker (with at least one direct report) in a business that:

employs between 5 and 249 people
has been trading for at least one year
is based in the United Kingdom
is not a charity (or if it is, you work in a commercial arm)

One person per business can join unless the business employs 10 or more people, in which case two places are available.
