Through Department for International Trade (DIT) and nominated Accredited Trade Challenge Partners (TCP), the Government offers extensive support to businesses wishing to exhibit and/or export to overseas markets. Particular emphasis is directed towards SME exporters.

Trade Show Access Programme (TAP)

Key to many SME exporters, TAP provides eligible companies with grants towards the cost of attending overseas trade shows and conferences.  The grant scheme is available across virtually all sectors, and is administered via accredited Trade Challenge Partners (TCP’s); usually trade assocations relevant to that sector.  The grant levels vary from £1,500 to £2,500 according to the country in which the event is held.  GAMBICA (a TCP for our sectors) can offer exhibitor grants for overseas shows and more details on the events and how the TAP scheme works are available on our International Events pages.
