Process Instrumentation & Control Council (PICC)

GAMBICA’s Process Instrumentation & Control Council (PICC) is comprised of senior leadership figures of the Process Instrumentation & Control industry in the UK, the PICC serves as the main steering group for GAMBICA activities in the sector as well as being a forum for discussion of key issues affecting business in the UK. Discussions generally focus on high level technical and commercial matters which have a direct commercial impact. Key areas of interest include increasing the profile of the Process Instrumentation & Control industry within the UK, working to remedy issues affecting business in the UK, addressing the issue of skills shortages within the sector and inputting into GAMBICA’s market data collections and surveys.

Typical job roles of PICC members include: Associate Director, Business Manager, General Manager, Managing Director, Sales Director, Sales Manager.

The group meets 3 times per year, usually around February, June and October. Members are expected to appoint a deputy to ensure consistency through all meetings. All members are encouraged to actively engage and share issues with potential business impact.
