A History and Future of Instrumentation

GAMBICA are presenting a paper at the Sensors and Instrumentation Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on 26th September. The attached article, reprinted in the September edition of Process Industry Informer, supplements the presentation. The presentation looks at why and how instrumentation was developed and how it has improved through the last three Industrial Revolutions. It then provides an insight into future innovations we as an industry should consider as we enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
